Thanks for stopping by.  Now you have your tree swing assembled, the last step is to lengthen or shorten the black hanging ropes attached to the swing to ensure it is level and at the correct height above the ground.  It’s easy to make them longer or shorter.

HOW TO ADJUST THE ROPE LENGTH – 40″ SAUCER TREE SWING Written Steps

  • Step 1
    Make sure your swing is securely attached to either an appropriate tree branch, beam, or swing frame.
  • Step 2
    Adjust the black ropes attached to the swing by feeding them through the buckle and through the eye to ensure the side you are working on sits between 12" and 18" above the ground
  • Step 3
    Repeat the process on the ropes supporting the other side of the swing.
  • Step 4
    Check the swing is sitting level and is between 12" and 18" above the ground. Make further adjustments if necessary.
